Wolfgang Rost secures first Australian contract and opens office in Sydney

Sydney… 1st October, 2003, Wolfgang Rost Architect a leading German based designer has made a firm commitment to take up new business and grow his company in the Australian marketplace by opening a new office located in Sydney.

In November 2002 Rost successfully negotiated a AUD$5million contract to design an apartment complex of 5 luxury apartments in one of Sydney’s most prestigious beach suburbs, Tamarama Beach. The apartments each with stunning ocean views, luxurious European styling, minimal and contemporary afforded Rost a calling card to introduce his design work to other small and medium size developers in Sydney and Brisbane.

Michael Hughes Commercial Director for Wolfgang Rost said “We spent the past year researching, developing and meeting with scores of potential clients, business partners and top level industry based consultants to ensure Wolfgang’s move to Australia would be a sound business decision”.

“We have made the decision to set up operations here as I recognise Sydney and broadly Australia is a bountiful marketplace, where I will stretch my design base to provide new clients with exciting, comfortable and affordable housing or commercial properties, that will offer something different to the current players”, said Wolfgang Rost, Architect & Interior Designer.

Rost is currently in final negotiations with more private and commercial developers and hopes to have a second commission before Christmas 2003.
