The commission included development of a stand alone operating centre + office space with a street level café.
The most important characteristic of this design is the contrast created between the two integrated spaces using different façade materials. In the operating centre the façade is of aluminium laminated plating and a contemporary corrugated aluminium façade for the office space.
A reduced use of reinforced concrete support provides for a reasonably open plan office space with more flexibility.
25 new work places were created within this development, all utilising the highest standard of office furnishings, technical and telecommunication facilities integrated by the architect.
The street level café is an appealing space, with indoor and outdoor seating for 40 clients. The flooring was completed in Oak, fittings and furnishings are of modern styling, giving this café a contemporary finish.
