Saarbrücken - Architects Office

A new office space for the architects was redeveloped in 1995.

The space is a long rectangular shape that includes reception area, meeting room, 6 workstations, private office + washroom and kitchen with small dining area.

The open plan workstations that cover the majority of the office, and all provide interaction with one and other. Buffered by central storage cabinets that elevate from the floor by approximately 2 metres each work station receives privacy and noise reduction.

The private office, meeting room and reception areas are divided using glass, galvanised iron cladding and MDF boarding. One side wall has floor to ceiling storage, whilst the river side of the building affords the occupants views of the river Saar.

Industrial lamps in the working area and smaller halogen wired lighting running through the reception, meeting and private office areas, completes this practical and welcoming space.
